Joan Sebastian is scheduled to have surgery in a couple of months.
It was reported that his vocal chords were damaged during the time he was diagnosed with cancer.
Since he was in a coma for over two weeks, Joan had tubes in his throat that caused the problem.
He said that he always looked for ways to be on stage and after some research he decided to take the next step and get the surgery.
He confessed he is afraid to lose his voice completely if the surgery doesn’t go as planned, but the doctors assured him it would be successful.
