The great José Alfredo Jiménez would have been 86-years-old today.
Although it has been 39 years since his death, his legacy and influence is still very present and his songs are still among the most popular in Mexican music.
More than 300 songs are attributed to him, among them “La Media Vuelta,” “Si Nos Dejan,” “Un Mundo Raro,” and “Ella.”
Artists such as Vicente Fernández, Antonio Aguilar, Luis Miguel, Alejandro Fernández, Maná, and Pedro Fernández, to mention a few, have recorded his songs.
There is no doubt that his talent still makes him el rey!

Aunque hace 39 años que murió, su legado e influencia siguen muy presente y sus canciones siguen siendo de las más populares de la música mexicana.
Se le atribuyen más de 300 composiciones, entre ellas “La Media Vuelta,” “Si Nos Dejan,” “Un Mundo Raro,” y “Ella.”

jose alfredo is a legend to the mexican music. his songs are the best songs. and its a pride and joy to have a lot of new regional mexican still sing his songs..his songs are my jams!!
